Mammoth Trips for the 2007-2008 Season
Hi, this is Myra your new Mammoth chair. Our trips are set and we are looking forward to a great ski season.
Arriba offers two types of trips to Mammoth: drive-up and bus trips.
Bus trips include transportation, food, and fun on the trip up to Mammoth and on the return, and continental breakfast and dinner each night. These trips offer you a great way to get up to Mammoth, no hassles, with dinner and lots of fun on the entier trip.
On drive-up trips, each person is responsible for arranging thier own transportation. The Mammoth trip chair will assist those who are driving up to find additional riders to help share costs. Riders are expected to share in the driving expenses.

Sign-ups for Mammoth Open House and Bus Trips will begin on September 16, 2007.
There are a couple of ways to sign up:
- 1. Attend an Arriba General Meeting and sign up with the Mammoth Chair.
- 2. If you are unable to attend a meeting but want to sign up for a trip, please e-mail mammoth@arribaski.org
Mammoth Trip Schedule
Open House Dec. 27th - Jan. 1, 2008 !!!! SOLD OUT !!!!!
The Mammoth Open House is a great way for new members to join and meet other members of the club. It is also a great way for returning members to get back into the swing of things. During Open House Week the club will be renting a condo with private rooms and bunkrooms. There is a 2-night minimum so get your sign-up in. The Open House is a drive up trip. We will stay at Mammoth Estates which is next to the Village with easy access to Canyon Lodge.
Drive-up #1 MLK weekend Jan 18th - Jan 21st, 2008 !!! SOLD OUT !!!
We will be staying at Chateau Sans Nom, which offers a combination of private bedrooms and bunkrooms. Prices below on chart. This is a 3-night 4-day trip. The complex is within a short walk to the Mammoth Shuttle. The complex provides hot tub, sauna, indoor pool and fireplaces. Parking is limited and car-pooling is recommended.
Bus Trip #1 President's Day Feb 15th through Feb. 18th, 2008 !!! SOLD OUT!!!
Our long awaited bus trip for the season will fill up fast so get your reservation in early. Prices below. This is a 3-night 4-day trip. We will depart on Friday evening and return Monday night. We will have 2 pick-ups, one in Long Beach and the second in West LA at the VA. Don’t forget we will supply dinner, movies and fun on the bus trip up and down. Once at Mammoth we will supply a continental breakfast and dinner each day. We will be staying again at Chateau Sans Nom. We will be close to ski shuttles routes and shopping. Our bus will pick us up each morning and take us to the lifts and in the late afternoon pick us up again and bring us down the mountain to the Condo
Bus Trip #2 Gay Ski Week Mar. 13th through Mar. 16th, 2008 !!! WAIT LIST !!!
This bus trip will take place during Gay Ski Week in Mammoth. We will leave on Thurs night and return Sun night. We will stay at Mammoth Estates, which is a short walk to Mammoth Village and the Village Gondola for access to restaurants and venues. The bus as always will take skiers up to th4/10/08ve dinner, snacks and beverages, including beer and wine on the trip up to Mammoth and on the trip home. Don’t miss this fun filled long weekend.
Drive up # 2 Mar. 27th - Mar. 30th !!!WAS A BLAST, MISSED YOU!!!

And now the fine print!
Cancellation policy
If you cancel prior to 30 days before the beginning of the trip, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel after 30 days of the beginning of the trip, then there will be NO refund unless the space is re-sold. If it is re-sold then only a $50 cancellation fee will be charged.
Waiting list policy
We maintain a waiting list for all Mammoth trips. Members are not allowed to transfer or trade their spaces with anyone else. If you cannot make a trip, you need to cancel your spot. If the trip is sold-out, the next person on the waiting list will be offered the spot.
All prices are per person. All condos provide hot tubs and fireplaces to enjoy before and after your ski day. |
