Mammoth Trips for the 2004-2005 Season
Arriba offers two types of trips to Mammoth: drive-up and bus trips. Both include lodging and dinner Saturday night.
Bus trips also include transportation, food on the trip to Mammoth and on the return, and continental breakfast and dinner each day.
On drive-up trips, each person is responsible for arranging his/her own transportation. The Mammoth trip chair will assist those who are driving to find riders and those who need a ride. Riders are expected to share in the expenses of driving - $25 is suggested.

Sign-ups for ALL Mammoth trips will begin at the next General Meeting scheduled on October, 17 2004 in Plummer Park.
Open House
This is our first trip of the season and a GREAT Arriba tradition. The Mammoth Open House is an excellent opportunity for members to join together during the winter holidays. During these (10) days, the club is renting a large condo, providing a combination of private bedrooms and bunk rooms. This year we will be staying at the Woodlands. The condo provides hot tubs, saunas, and a fireplace just to name a few features all necessary after a hard day of skiing. There will be a two night minimum.
 Bus Trip #1 and #2
We will leave early Friday evening from Long Beach and West Los Angeles. These trips will have up to 35 members. We have lots of fun - so sit back, relax, and leave the driving to us. Dinner and beverages will be provided on the way up to the mountain and on the way back. Catered dinners will also be provided Saturday and Sunday nights, along with water, sodas, beer and wine. Continental breakfasts are also provided. In addition, we will enjoy new/old feature movies to view on the way up and back, so put your requests in NOW.
Drive-up #1
We will be going up to Mammoth for their Gay/Lesbian ski weekend, which has really grown since it’s beginning a few years back. Three nights of lodging at the Woodlands will be provided along with a home-cooked meal on Saturday night. There will be a combination of private rooms and multi-bed rooms. The drive-ups are great for getting to know your fellow club members. We will assist you with arranging a carpool with other club members.
Drive up # 2
 Three nights of lodging will be provided at the Chamonix, located walking distance from the lifts. These condos were a big hit with last year’s participants, so we thought we would give them another try. Again like the first drive-up, there will be a meal on Saturday and a combo of private and multi-bed arrangements. We will assist you with arranging a carpool with other club members.
And now the fine print!
Cancellation policy
If you cancel prior to 30 days before the beginning of the trip, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel after 30 days of the beginning of the trip, then there will be NO refund unless the space is re-sold, in which a $25 cancellation fee will be charged.
Waiting list policy
We maintain a waiting list for all Mammoth trips. Members are not allowed to transfer or trade their spaces with anyone else. If you cannot make a trip, you need to cancel your spot. If the trip is sold-out, the next person on the waiting list will be offered the spot.
We are using tiered pricing this year. The private rooms (two people per room) are the first price listed and the bunk rooms (four people per room, except for Drive-up #1, which are three people per room) are the lower prices that follow. All prices are per person. All condos provide hot tubs and fireplaces to enjoy before and after your ski day.
